Since we opened our showroom, we have been constantly asked if we teach any classes for those with a particular interest in ceramics. Our consistent answer has been that we focus on crafting (ceramics and the other items we create) and that Karolína only runs a Krasopismo Lettering Workshop.

However, the questions have continued, and because we are now feeling more confident in sharing our knowledge, we’ve decided to satisfy customers’ and friends’ wishes by offering workshops! And they won’t be just about ceramics.

We won’t be teaching you how to make our IAC mug, but we will guide you in enjoying some crafting and spending quality, creative time in our studio. Here, you can learn about Karolina’s hand-building techniques and discuss her approach to art, craft, and clay. It won’t be solely about mastering a specific art discipline but also about enjoying time in a relaxed form with a small group, getting to know one another, and having a pleasant experience, just as you’ve expected from In August Company.

Starting in March, we plan themed months where you can sign up for various topics and crafts that we will explore in-depth together. Some topics will be one-offs – morning or evening classes, while some workshops will be ongoing.

But most importantly, we want to invite you into our studio so we can engage more with you and reveal more of the process behind our small company.

We’ve promised our customers we would host more of these intimate events, and now it’s finally happening. We hope you’re as thrilled as we are, and we look forward to sharing time and a bit of that craft with you!
